Art, psychology and religion are different ways to approach and interpret the presence of the unknown. Each one of these practices can be understood as a different symbolic language developed in response to the human search for meaning and attempt at understanding herself and her surroundings. A central component of all of these paths is the wish for growth and transformation—something which is also inherent in nature and biological life. The conversation will depart from the themes present in the exhibition Near to the Wild Heart to explore the longing for spiritual, sensorial and emotional connection with the world and ways to exceed the boundaries of the individual self.
